Zweli Nyathi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the JRA, sees the entity’s future moving forward through digital transformation and innovation. With a strong enthusiasm and passion for technology and operational excellence, his vision includes an extensive review of the Smart City Model, streamlining processes, and maximizing workforce potential.
Nyathi’s career accomplishments include pivotal roles at SAA, and various local government roles as Municipal Manager, Strategic Advisor, and now the CEO of the Johannesburg Roads Agency.
Nyathi holds an MBA from Regenesys Business School, an MFMA (Municipal Finance Management Programme) Certificate and is currently completing his PhD programme focused on Technology Management and Innovation
