What is Women In Mobility?

Smarter Mobility Africa hosts the Women In Mobility platform and brings together an influential group of female experts in the mobility sector from around the world to particpate in a series of exclusive events held during Smarter Mobility Africa. These inspiring women share their experiences and use their personal stories to motivate and inspire each other in a male-dominated industry.

Their expertise showcases how women are making progress, despite challenges not of their own making. The personal element they bring to the Women In Mobility brand through events and gatherings in October at Smarter Mobility Africa creates a sense of relatability and strengthens the bonds of sisterhood among capable women from Africa and the world. They strive to promote a fair mobility transition by lifting each other up and rising together.

A true celebration of strength and success. Rise Together.

Did you know: Mobility is not gender neutral. This not only pertains to individual mobility, but also to the transport and planning sectors themselves, which are heavily dominated by men (only 22 per cent of all employees in the transport sector are female). We can change this by #WINningtogether

The women in mobility was inspirational and life changing especially Nono Xaba, I also learned a lot about the industry that is new and upcoming.
