He is a co-founder of Ecomobilus, an emobility company in Kenya that is debuting the manufacturing of custom-made EVs and lithium power storages to suit the unique mobility needs of Africa’s urban and rural communities using renewable and non-carbon-intensive energy. His experience in emobility cuts across e-Bicycles, e-Motorcycles, e-TukTuks, and 4-wheel light EVs retrofitting, assembly, and manufacturing. Currently, he is leading an emobility manufacturing collaboration project under Kenyatta University to launch and run the production of an electric light cargo cart called eMkoko. The project has obtained support from the Government of Kenya, Nairobi County Government, and other public and private sector institutions that are intent on replacing the age-old “mkokoteni” in Nairobi and other cities, in the Smart Cities agenda.
