Robert Joubert founded Boomerang BPO on a conviction most customer services outsourcers have abandoned: the person answering your customer’s query is not an ‘agent’, they are a Brand Ambassador. Twenty years later, that belief has built a 600-strong Cape Town operation serving retail, ecommerce and fintech brands across the UK and South Africa. Rob believes Africa’s digital commerce era will be won or lost at the customer experience layer, and that most operators are under-investing precisely when growth demands it most. Boomerang BPO holds ISO27001 and ISO9001 certification and was awarded Top Medium BPO Operator 2025.
