Raymond Langa is Group Chief Executive of Leagas Delaney South Africa, leading the business across its Johannesburg office and Dark Arts, its Cape Town design and delivery studio. His view is direct: Africa is not a market to be developed but a blueprint to build from. Constraint on the continent has repeatedly produced ingenuity and new ways of solving problems, and Raymond believes the creative industry must now apply that thinking to itself. He brings more than 15 years of experience across creative, experiential and sponsorship agencies, shaped in part by a background in professional sport. His work has spanned sport, FMCG, financial services, energy, beverages and government, working with some of South Africa’s most recognised brands and businesses across multiple African markets. Raymond holds qualifications from Oxford’s Saïd Business School and is completing his MBA at Henley Business School. A member of the Institute of Directors South Africa, he is a trustee of Laureus Sport for Good South Africa and the Parktown Foundation Trust. He writes and speaks on African leadership, creative transformation and the continent’s potential to shape new models of global innovation.
