V&A Waterfront

Graham Wood assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of the V&A Waterfront on 1 January 2026. With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality, tourism and gaming industry, Graham brings extensive expertise across financial, commercial, operational management and strategic leadership disciplines. Prior to joining the V&A Waterfront, Graham served as Chief Operating Officer of Sun International Limited, where he led an integrated executive team responsible for the operational performance of the group’s hotels, resorts and gaming properties, including oversight of sales, marketing, revenue management and casino support functions. Before Sun International, Graham was Managing Director of Tsogo Sun Hotels (now Southern Sun Hotels) from 2008 to 2013, responsible for a portfolio of 95 hotels across South Africa. A qualified Chartered Accountant with further studies at institutions in both South Africa and the United States, Graham is recognised for his strong commercial acumen, strategic mindset and engaging leadership style. Outside of work, he is a keen ultra-distance runner and avid golfer.
