Brian Muyomba is a seasoned Transport and Logistics Consultant with over 11 years of experience locally and internationally. As a key lecturer at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), he teaches, develops and assesses several transport and logistics courses. In 2022, Brian was appointed as the inaugural Head of Department for MUBS’ Department of Transport and Logistics, serving until February 2024. He is a Chartered Members of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is certified as a FIATA and CILT trainer. Brian’s qualifications include an MA Economic Policy and Management, the FIATA Diploma in International Freight Forwarding and the CILT International Advanced Diploma as well as a Bachelor of Transport and Logistics Management among others. He actively consults for organizations like the Uganda Revenue Authority and the Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Association. He is involved in various professional bodies such as CILT Uganda Chapter where he serves as the National Treasurer and the Humanitarian Logistics Association. Brian also founded the Makerere University Transport and Logistics Association in 2012 and served as its Patron until 2022.
