
Bathembu Futshane, Senior Manager, Service Delivery Improvement and Change Management (Customer Care) at the Department of Social Development with 20 years experience as Public service official. He has a qualification in Bsosci Politics and Governance, with certifications in the Balanced Scorecard and Monitoring and Evaluation for the Public Service. He has served in various capacities in the Public Service, including establishing and heading the award winning Gender Based Violence Command Centre, implementation of the DSD’s Presidential Hotline referral Help desk, the Department’s Customer Care function, and as head of Communications and Stakeholder engagement. He has also served on Intergovernmental Fora, including the 90 Day Accelerated Programme on Gender Based Violence, the Integrated Justice Programme and the Integrated Social Cluster Task Team, which consolidates the work of all the Communications cluster departments within the Government Communications and Information System (GCIS).
