Soldevco Pty Ltd (Solutions Development Company) is a proudly South African youth- and women-owned cleantech innovation company focused on restoring overloaded water systems, strengthening circular food-and-water economies, and advancing climate-positive infrastructure solutions for the future of water, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.

Soldevco was founded by civil engineer, infrastructure executive, and inventor Heindré Rademan together with director and owner Alisia Rautenbach — his daughter and a civil engineer in her own right.

The company was born from a simple but difficult question:

“What are we going to do about it?”

That question emerged from growing concern about the deteriorating condition of South Africa’s water systems and environmental infrastructure reflected in declining Blue Drop, Green Drop, and No Drop assessments, overloaded wastewater treatment works, polluted rivers, increasing pressure on agriculture, and the long-term consequences this decline creates for communities, public health, food security, and future generations.
