The proof from Enlit Africa 2026, 19–21 May, CTICC: who was on the floor, what drew them there, and how far the event reached.
Managers made up 22% of 2026 attendees, heads and directors 21%, engineers and technicians 12%, and C-suite and chairmen 8%.
82 countries were represented. The top 10 African countries were South Africa, Nigeria, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, the DRC and Mozambique.
The Municipal Forum and Water Security Africa hubs ran right on the exhibition floor, alongside the Power, Renewable Energy & Storage and Mobility hubs and the new Data Centre Summit.
Host media partner ESI Africa profiled 138 exhibitors in print and published 81 video interviews. Mainstream coverage delivered 105 pieces, a 58M audience reach and R11.5m in AVE.
The Project & Investment Network put developers, investors and six governments in the room, with rapid-fire project briefings and deal sessions.
Delegates visited Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, the Atlantis SEZ, Robben Island's solar installation, Strandfontein waste-to-energy and V&A Waterfront desalination.
