Professor Vally Padayachee has over 45 years’ experience across the power and energy sector in academia, the public and private sectors. He is Strategic Advisor to AMEU, Executive Officer of PIESA and a member of the NRS Management Committee, and supports South Africa’s National Electricity Crisis Committee. He is a Professor of Practice at UJ, a Sessional Lecturer at Wits Business School, and a former senior executive at Eskom, City Power Johannesburg and Altron Power.
