Santego Govender is the CEO of Enerweb and a leading voice in Africa’s evolving energy landscape. He brings deep experience across energy trading, utility analytics, metering, and demand response, supported by strong technical expertise and hands-on delivery of market-ready platforms. Having previously served as CFO and Operations Director, Santego has helped shape strategy and build advanced solutions for utilities, power pools, energy traders, corporate offtakers, and Independent Power Producers across the continent. He holds an MBA and multiple qualifications in management and technology, and is actively involved in supporting the shift toward open-access, competitive electricity markets—including South Africa’s transition through SAWEM.
