Municipal Board

Rodney has been involved in the SCM environment for more than three decades and has worked in all three spheres of the government. He was a supply chain practitioner and manager with the Western Cape Government as supply chain analyst at the Western Cape Provincial Treasury the supply chain manager at the Stellenbosch Municipality and the director for supply chain management, education, training and development at National Treasury.  

He introduced a new approach for training and development in supply chain management and was instrumental in the development of various training programs. He is the previous director for local government Supply Chain Management at Western Cape Provincial Treasury, overseeing SCM compliance and providing support and guidance to municipalities in the Western Cape Province. Rodney also fulfilled an oversight role for SCM, education, training and development in the province.  

He represented the Western Cape government on many provincial and national platforms and currently, he heads up a consultancy woman consultancy Training and Development Institute, where he consults for both public and private sector and provides extensive training and development offerings in the SCM domain
