“Patrick is responsible for transaction origination, structuring and execution for the Pan African investment team in for West Africa, with a strong focus on French-speaking sub-Saharan African regions. Patrick represents AIIM funds as  a non-executive director on the boards of Albatros Energy Mali (90MW thermal power plant), SEGAP (airport concessions holding company), Sodigaz (LPG distribution leader in Burkina Faso) and Bulkstream (largest Bulk terminal operator in Eastern Africa).

Patrick joined AIIM in 2017 with 20 years of pan-African experience spanning a range of sectors including power, telecommunications and oil & gas in Africa in various roles as a banker, an advisor and executive director. Prior to joining AIIM, Patrick was an executive at General Electric leading commercial and Sales finance for their oil & gas business in Sub-Saharan Africa. He was also previously senior vice-president for sales and project finance in charge of Francophone Africa and Angola.

Patrick previously held a position as Managing Partner for Africa Capital in Côte d’Ivoire, where he led the origination and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions, and financing transactions for clients in West and Central Africa. Patrick started his career in Europe, working for Fortis Bank’s investment banking Africa team in Paris. He headed telecoms (advisory, privatizations, asset backed and project finance) before relocating to Côte d’Ivoire as Chief Financial Officer for Atlantique Telecom, a regional mobile telecoms group and then CEO of Alink, a wholesale connectivity provider active in 12 African countries. Patrick holds a Master’s in Management (MiM) with a Corporate Finance Major from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris”
