Hendrick is the Divisional Head: Alternative and Renewable Energy Division at City of Ekurhuleni. Responsible for implementation of renewable energy projects, energy efficiency, demand side management, embedded generation integration, procurement of renewable/clean energy from IPP, research and development, wheeling. Hendrick has over 20 years experience in the energy industry gained from the private sector, State owned enterprises and Municipal sector. Experienced in electrical designs, automation, metering, tariffs, electrification, maintenance, electrical protection, revenue enhancement and protection. He is currently doing a Masters in Science degree: Sustainability in energy provision and demand side management.
