Geoffrey is a Senior Consultant at Hatch and the Africa India & Middle East Lead for Power Transmission & Integration. He’s an electrical engineer with over 31 years of experience in the power utility industry. His fields of specialization are power delivery, conventional and renewable power generating plant integration into power networks, energy optimisation, power electronics, power system studies, substation design, electrical protection and control for transmission and distribution networks. He is also the Project Manager and Lead Project Engineer for several major power projects in Southern Africa, including the Kariba Extension Project and the Hwange Transmission System Reinforcement Project.
