Darryl Chapman

Chief Engineer

Darryl Chapman: Darryl started his professional career with Eskom in 1995 after the completing his BSc. in Electrical Engineering at WITS University. Initially Darryl started out in high voltage electrical engineering research and obtained his MSc. (Eng.) in 2000. In 2009 Darryl was seconded to Eskom’s Internal Energy Efficiency programme as the Programme Manager for a period of 4 years. In 2017 Darryl took on the role of e-Mobility Programme Manager at Eskom Research Testing and Development (RT&D). Darryl is currently a chief engineer and senior researcher at Eskom RT&D.
