Chenal Palhad received a BSc in Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal followed by an MSc in Electrical Engineering which he received, summa cum laude. He is a Technical Application Engineer for Doble Engineering with daily activities including onsite testing, training people to test, and providing expert knowledge on optimising protection, control and metering systems. 

Chenal has published several papers and articles and has developed new test approaches for various protection, automation and metering devices. He is an active member of the Doble engineering team for development and testing of new products.
