Keynote Speaker

Bheki Nxumalo currently serves as the Group Executive for Generation at Eskom, the state-owned power utility in South Africa. His appointment was effective from April 14, 2023.  

With a career spanning over 20 years in the energy sector, Mr. Nxumalo has held various roles from junior to senior management and executive levels. He brings extensive operating, power station management, and production experience to his new position. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Eskom Enterprise and Eskom Rotek Industries.  

Notably, he had previously been the Power Station Manager at two of Eskom’s power stations and the General Manager at Kusile Power Station
