CONGOLESE ANALYTICAL LABORATORY S.A.R.L (COAL) is a private owned company with majority Congolese ownership, thus complying with the requirements of both the mining Code and Sub-Contracting Law in DRC. COAL is certified by the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP). COAL provides a full range of testing capabilities in Geochemistry, Metallurgy and Inspection to the mining industry in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The company is strategically located in Lubumbashi, and is supported by
Australian Laboratory Services (ALS) which give COAL access to a team of experts available to provide specialized business solutions that align with client needs. COAL is composed of former ALS employees who have worked for ALS for a number of years; they understand and share ALS core values. COAL is approved by ALS to use their intellectual properties such as GEMS, SOPs, QAQC, HSE, Employees) which makes COAL adequately equipped technically.
