Yves Binzunga has 23 years of professional experience, including 19 years in the banking sector. He joined EquityBCDC in April 2022 as Regional Director Western DRC until January 2023, when he was appointed Regional Director Southern DRC and was then promoted to Deputy Managing Director in August 2024.
Prior to joining EquityBCDC, Yves Binzunga worked at Ecobank respectively as Multinational and Regional Corporate and Regional Director Katanga & Eastern DRC between 2011 and 2022. He started his banking career at Standard Bank as a Relationship Manager Corporate Banking between 2006 and 2011.
He holds a Master in Finance from University Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and a Bachelor of sciences in Economics from Solvay Brussels School Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Yves is passionate about mining Sector with a proven expertise in structured financing and mining valuation.
