As CEO and President of Hayes Group International (HGI) and founder of Seyah Space, she leads high-impact initiatives that connect global capital with transformative projects across resource-rich and technology-driven sectors. 

Ms. Hayes is a recognized authority in sourcing and securing rare earth elements and critical minerals essential to global supply chains, energy transition, and national security. She brings a unique cross-sector perspective, having operated at the intersection of government, defense, and private industry, including key roles within the intelligence community (IC), the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), and the commercial sectors of oil and gas, mining, and frontier technologies. Ms. Hayes is a key figure in developing sustainable mining initiatives, building resilient critical mineral supply chains, and applying cutting-edge technologies—including geospatial intelligence, data analytics, and space-based solutions—to optimize resource extraction and infrastructure development in Africa and beyond. 

A driving force behind successful ventures in some of the world’s most complex markets, Ms. Hayes has launched innovative technologies into both the DoD ecosystem and Africa’s fast-evolving tech landscape. She has worked extensively across Africa and the Middle East, building trusted partnerships and leading projects in Nigeria, Niger, DRC, Angola, Kenya, Djibouti, and beyond. 

Ms. Hayes is a key contributor to the African Leaders’ Critical Minerals Global Supply Chain Diplomatic Roundtable and a lead voice in advancing space technology opportunities across the continent. With deep-rooted expertise in economic development, security, and post-conflict recovery, she is committed to harnessing technology and investment to unlock Africa’s potential as a global hub for critical minerals and innovation. 

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Ms. Hayes holds a B.A. in International Relations from George Washington University, as well as an International M.B.A. and M.A. in International Relations from the University of San Diego.
