Ndimi Bodika has over 20 years of experience in the power, mining, engineering, and infrastructure sectors. He has worked with major industry players such as De Beers, Anglo American, and General Electric (GE) and is currently a Senior Project Manager at Ivanhoe Mines, focusing on energy solutions for mining operations. His expertise spans technical, financial, and commercial aspects of large-scale projects, with a strong understanding of both operational and strategic challenges in the African energy and mining sectors.
Ndimi has a proven track record in project development and execution, financial structuring, and strategic stakeholder management. Throughout his career, he has led complex energy and infrastructure projects, negotiated major agreements with governments and industry partners, and played a key role in securing sustainable power solutions for mining and industrial operations. His work has involved developing and implementing power generation strategies, overseeing engineering and financial planning, and ensuring projects align with regulatory and commercial requirements.
With a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Ndimi combines technical expertise with business acumen. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) with the Engineering Council of South Africa. Over the years, he has worked on energy security challenges, infrastructure investments, and industrial development initiatives across Africa, always aiming to balance commercial viability with long-term sustainability.
