Molebogeng Mazibuko is an accomplished professional currently serving as an Associate Vice President within the Investment Division at Africa Finance Corporation (“AFC”). With a focus on the mining sector, she plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing AFC’s strategy across the African continent. Molebogeng embarked on her career journey in 2009 at Gold Fields Mine Ltd, where she joined as a graduate in training. Displaying exceptional dedication and aptitude, she became one of the few Geology graduates to earn an underground mining certificate from the Mining Qualifications Authority in 2011. In 2015, she transitioned to the Investment arena and progressed steadily to assume the role of Senior Dealmaker at the Industrial Development Corporation, South Africa. Throughout her tenure, Molebogeng led and participated in cross-functional teams, facilitating impactful transactions spanning diverse industries such as mining, services incidental to mining, manufacturing, gas, and more.
