Martin is responsible for CEC’s organic growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, and power trading, which involves purchasing electrical power from a portfolio of regional sources for supply to customers in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He also heads CEC’s subsidiary company in the DRC, CEC-DRC, as the Managing Director since its incorporation in 2018. Martin previously held the position of Senior Manager Business Development and various technical and commercial positions in business development, project management and power trading functions within CEC. Before joining CEC, Martin worked in the copper mining industry in Zambia and participated in the mine infrastructure expansion projects in technical aspects of network planning, business development and project management.
