Deputy Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors, Joël Kabuya has more than 16 years of experience in the field of finance, including 9 years in the microfinance and banking sectors. He holds a degree in economics and finance from the University of Kinshasa as well as an MBA in auditing and control from the Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer in Brussels. He is also a Chartered Accountant approved by the National Order of Chartered Accountants since 2016. He has been Chairman of the Regulatory Commission of the Congolese Banking Association since 2018. He has an increased knowledge of Corporate finance, audit and control, asset-liability management and banking regulations. Joel joined Ecobank RDC in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer after spending 5 years as Chief Financial Officer at Equity BCDC Limited and Manager of its real estate subsidiary
