Hubert Kalala Mukendi is a Congolese Electrical and Automation Engineer who graduated Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems) from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Over the past decade, he has worked across the marine, mining, renewable energy, oil & gas, and industrial sectors, gaining valuable experience with companies such as Wärtsilä, ACTOM, Sandock Austral Shipyards and De Beers. Passionate about developing African engineering talent, he founded Qanchis to combine international expertise with local skills development. His goal is simple: deliver practical engineering solutions while creating opportunities, transferring knowledge, and helping build sustainable technical capacity across Africa
