Bandi Mbubi has spent over 25 years working at the intersection of human rights, responsible sourcing, and artisanal mining – driven by a simple belief: that change has to work for the communities it affects.
As Executive Director of the Fair Cobalt Alliance, he brings together industry, governments, and civil society to improve lives in cobalt ASM communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo – strengthening livelihoods, increasing transparency, and addressing child labour and unsafe practices. He also founded the Congo Calling campaign, a testament to his long commitment to amplifying Congolese voices on the global stage.
