The Cape Town E-Prix is the conclusion of a week of targeted activities to drive change and accelerate Africa's transition towards a greener and sustainable future for all.

Building on the Formula E mission statement, Cape Town hosts a series of projects that bring local and global leaders together to invest in Africa and it's people. This is purpose driven sport led by a team that is committed to spark influence and deliver change. This is more than sport.

The Formula E calendar for season 10 in 2024 will not include a Cape Town E-Prix, but the race will return in 2025.

Accelerating Africa's Transition

A unique and motivated cohort of industry influencers connect under a shared mission of a net zero Africa, with a diversified and sustainable economy able to provide all of its citizens with the desired quality of life.

Africa will need to embrace the green transformation that is now underway across the globe and Go Green Africa is starting this journey in Cape Town, with an initial focus on the e-mobility sector and the huge opportunity that it holds to drive this transition.

Africa's Green Economy Summit

African and Global leaders, experts and influencers will share strategic insights on how policy, investment and innovation can be combined to support the development of a vibrant and dynamic green economy in Africa.

This 3-day deal-making platform showcases investable African projects from across Africa, both large and small scale, in closed and open deal making environments. Connecting stakeholders to deals and to fast-track the just transition is core to the objective of the Summit.

Experience (arguably) the world’s most beautiful road trip. evrt Africa showcases innovation in sustainable technology while putting e-vehicles to the ultimate test along the glorious Western Cape, Garden Route.

The rally is designed to shine a light and educate buyers on the 'real' abilities of EV's and why it is our future. Stopping at local city, residential and iconic tourist destinations enroute the driver team will share their experiences through social and media outlets. Arriving to the Cape Town E-Prix street circuit for the inaugural lap after a city-wide route.

EVRT will still run in 2024. Dates to be confirmed.
