The East African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EAVCA) was established in 2013 with the primary objective of representing the private equity industry in East Africa. EAVCA’s membership encompasses a diverse range of stakeholders, including development finance institutions, local institutional investors, private capital fund managers, and professional service firms now comprising over 100 firms, primarily fund managers. EAVCA serves as the interlinking platform connecting public stakeholders, local businesses, and private investors. By fostering dialogue and leveraging industry insights, EAVCA has created a sustainable, informed ecosystem that promotes economic growth, social and environmental welfare, and wealth creation in the region.
