The South African Chamber of Commerce Singapore (SACham) has been the business bridge between South Africa and Singapore/Southeast Asia since 2019, under the patronage of the South African High Commission in Singapore. We bring together around 60 member companies, the large majority based in Singapore and some in South Africa – from banks and law firms to trade houses, logistics operators and mining companies – and connect them into a genuinely global network. Beyond membership, our work is about real introductions and market access: this year’s flagship was the South Africa Focus Week (with Wesgro and Brand South Africa), bringing a delegation of South African companies to Singapore for B2B matchmaking and private site visits; we also run sector-specific Business Councils and webinars, conferences with our diplomatic and media partners, and hands-on workshops.
