Serial entrepreneur Warrick Kernes brings over 15 years of eCommerce experience across South Africa and Europe. Winner of London’s Young Businessman of the Year Award in 2009, Warrick went on to found the award-winning South African online store Action Gear in 2010, which he successfully exited in 2018.
Recognised globally for his expertise, Warrick was named Shopify’s Top Education Partner (Worldwide) in 2021. He is a guest lecturer on eCommerce at WITS Business School for MBA students and has presented on eCommerce strategy for organisations such as JP Morgan (S&P 500).
A thought leader in the industry, Warrick serves on the Education Committee of the eCommerce Forum Africa and contributes regularly to Entrepreneur Magazine.
In 2017, Warrick founded the Insaka eCommerce Academy, which has since become one of South Africa’s leading online learning platforms dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and accelerating the growth of the local eCommerce ecosystem through education and community.
