With a career shaped by hands-on experience across complex enterprise environments, he specialises in standardisation and rationalisation, business capability mapping, technology modernisation, and security and compliance. Tony has guided numerous leading financial services, insurance, telecommunications, and technology organisations through transformation journeys – always with a focus on strategic alignment, simplification, and long-term impact. Leading BBD’s vendor management, he knows how to offer clear, experience-backed guidance on navigating partner ecosystems. At his core, Tony is passionate about helping organisations find clarity in complexity – translating big ideas into actionable, scalable outcomes. Tony is currently a recognised Professional CIO, senior IEEE member, a PhD candidate in Information Systems, lecturing at the University of Pretoria, and contributing to global Digital Transformation discourse.
