Nick is the Managing Partner of Savant Venture Fund, where he leads strategic investments in hardware and deeptech, drawing on deep expertise in engineering- and science-driven ventures to identify and support breakthrough innovations. Savant is the appointed fund manager for Aséli Impact Capital, and in this role Nick contributes to investment strategy, capital deployment, and the support of impact-driven enterprises scaling locally and internationally. 

 

With over two decades of experience in hardware incubation and advisory, Nick has been a pioneer of hardware and deeptech-focused funding initiatives in Southern Africa. His leadership has supported founders in navigating the technical and commercial complexities of product development, accelerating pathways from local validation to global scale.
