Mohamed Sebti

Investment Director – Head of Growth Equity, Inspired Evolution

As Investment Director, Head of Growth Equity, Mohamed leads the Group’s growth equity investment strategy and contributes to delivering on technology-based, mid-cap, portfolio growth investments. His prime responsibilities include managing and overseeing the implementation of the Company’s investment strategy on all growth equity deals. Additionally, Mohamed plays a crucial role in strengthening the Company’s brand and fund management platform, building networks, and enhancing deal origination and execution capabilities. His role involves close cooperation with all regional offices, team members, partners, market and industry groups, and other key stakeholders across specialised investment themes, ensuring the coordination and optimal execution of Inspired Evolution’s strategic investment strategy under its Evolution suite of funds. 

Mohamed has a strong track record with over 14 years of extensive in Generalist Private Equity experience in originating and executing deals and creating value across Africa. Mohamed has served as a board member at portfolio companies and has been an active participant in various board subcommittees.

In addition to his private equity career, Mohamed has experience as a Lecturer and Scientific Researcher at Constantine University, Algeria. He holds a Masters degree in Financial Management. Mohamed is trilingual, speaking fluent Arabic, French, and English.
