Michael has 25 years’ experience in supply chain management and holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering. As an independent consultant and as a management consultant at two of the Big 5 consulting firms, Michael has delivered significant value for companies in the procurement, planning and logistics space. Projects include supply chain strategy, supply chain network design, working capital optimisation, implementation of ERP solutions and optimisation of supply chains and business processes. Currently Michael is the Managing Executive for OKgo, which is part of the Tracker group of companies. OKgo is an IoT and AI tech company that specialises in supply chain visibility solutions.
I am looking forward to discussing and exploring different ways on how we can make our supply chains in South Africa more productive and resilient in these uncertain times. South Africa’s logistics systems and infrastructure are under significant strain and through key partnerships and collaboration at an execution level, I believe many of these challenges can be addressed
