Dr. Harrison Nnaji, the Group CISO for FirstBank & Its subsidiaries, is an accomplished data, cyber, and information security strategist & Practitioner with 18+ years of solid experience in the conception, engineering, design, delivery, operation, and optimization of cyber, data & information security capabilities, risk management, networking, IT operations & project management for enterprise grade environments. 

He has a B.Eng in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from FUTO, Owerri; 4 Masters’ degrees with 2 focusing on cyber, data, cloud, and information security; a Ph.D. in Management, leadership & organizational strategy, and multiple industry-rated certifications including CCISO, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, MoR, TOGAF9, CEH, ISO 20000 Implementer. Prior to that, he had held operational, tactical, and strategic roles in within Banking, Telecommunications, IT Equipment Distribution, OEM, and SI industries.  

He is the Former Vice Chairman of the Committee of CISOs for DMBs (Deposit Money Banks) & PSPs (Payment Service Providers), the Director of the ISC2 Nigeria Chapter, a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers, a Fellow at NICA, and the banking industry cybersecurity workstream lead for the Bankers sub-committee on Infrastructure & payments.  

He is an established global conference speaker, multiple award winner, industry pacesetter, mentor, and an avid promoter of cyber security practices
