Francois Retief is a highly accomplished business leader, serving as CEO of TFS (Takealot Fulfilment Services). With over 20 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics, he has built a strong reputation as a transformative leader in both the e-commerce and automotive sectors. He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Pretoria, along with a BCom from UNISA and an MBA (cum laude) from Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). At the Takealot Group, Francois has led a significant transformation of supply chain and logistics operations, expanding delivery capacity from 7 million to over 70 million orders annually, while achieving notable improvements in productivity, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency. Before joining Takealot, he held senior leadership roles at Nissan Motor Company, including Director of Supply Chain Management for the Africa, Middle East, and India region, where he managed a $1.05 billion budget and delivered substantial cost-saving initiatives.
