Francois Retief is an accomplished executive currently serving as the CEO for Takealot Fulfilment Services. With over 20 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics, Francois has established himself as a transformative leader in the e-commerce and automotive industries. After earning his Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Pretoria, he further enhanced his expertise with a BCom from UNISA and an MBA (cum laude) from GIBS. At Takealot Group, Francois has revolutionized the supply chain and logistics operations, expanding delivery capacity from 7 million to over 63 million deliveries per year while achieving remarkable improvements in productivity, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency. Prior to Takealot, Francois held progressive leadership roles at Nissan Motor Company, including Director of Supply Chain Management for the Africa, Middle East, and India region, where he managed a $1.05 billion budget and implemented significant cost-saving initiatives.
