Dr. Nomthandazo Malevu, widely recognized as Dr. Nomty, is a distinguished professional in the field of Customer Experience (CX) with over a decade of expertise in operationalizing and designing CX strategies that drive business value. She recently earned her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Regent Business School, further solidifying her academic and professional credentials.
Her DBA research proposes an AI framework tailored to South Africa’s banking sector, addressing trust, digital inclusion, and regulatory challenges to improve access and experience for underserved communities.

In her current role as Head of CX and Customer Management, Dr. Malevu spearheads strategic CX and Customer Management initiatives. Her illustrious career includes pivotal roles at South African Breweries, SA Taxi, and Consulta, where she has successfully led national brand campaigns, redefined customer experience strategies, and introduced innovative solutions with measurable impact. Her academic achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Communications, a Post Graduate degree in Business Management, and an MBA.

Dr. Malevu’s diverse skill set encompasses strategy, innovation, and execution, honed across various industries including FMCG, financial services, and market research consulting. Known for her problem-solving abilities, she excels in tackling complex organizational processes that often hinder companies from effectively connecting with their customers.
