Dr Cameron Perks is the Product Director for Lithium at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, where he leads the company’s global lithium research, market intelligence, price forecasting, cost modelling, and supply-demand analysis. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering.
With more than a decade of experience across critical minerals and opaque commodity markets, he is widely recognised as a leading authority on lithium markets, battery raw materials, and energy transition supply chains. Prior to joining Benchmark, Dr Perks worked across consulting, market analysis, and government geoscience roles at TZMI, Fastmarkets, and the Geological Survey of New South Wales.
He regularly advises mining companies, investors, OEMs, and policymakers on the evolving dynamics of global lithium markets and downstream processing.
