Babajide Senbanjo is Chief Investment Officer of Zigma Ltd., an indigenous, female-owned oil and gas services company raising a US$30M infrastructure fund to support Nigeria’s 2030 energy transition targets. A qualified US lawyer with over 20 years of post-qualification experience, he holds a B.Sc. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
At Zigma, he is developing a portfolio of up to twelve assets worth approximately US$3.2B across lithium, bitumen, and limestone mines, agriculture, and industrial projects. He was formerly a partner at Aurelius Aubrey Limited, a UK advisory boutique focused on Sub-Saharan Africa, and previously held senior roles at Kazimir Partners, VR Capital Group, Davidson Kempner, and D.B. Zwirn & Co.
Mr. Senbanjo has deep experience in public and private M&A, capital markets, and real assets, alongside an extensive network across Nigeria’s business and political landscape.
