Baafour Otu-Boateng is Investment Director at KawiSafi Ventures, a leading climate fund focused on companies that enable low-carbon growth across Africa.

Previously, he was Investment Director at Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), where he led investments in a diverse portfolio of African businesses active in renewable energy, technology, healthcare, agribusiness and financial inclusion.
Prior to I&P, he was a TechnoServe Fellow in Ghana. He started his career as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank in New York, advising on transactions for some of the world’s largest retailers.

Baafour currently serves as Board Director and Lead Expert at the Impact Investing Institute (UK). He also serves as Board Director at World Vision International and Board Chair at World Vision Ghana. Baafour is an Eisenhower Fellow. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, where he was a Chevening Scholar, and a BA from Williams College, where he was a Herbert H. Lehman scholar.
