Anthony Gewer has for the past 26 years provided strategic and technical support to government, donors, industry and institutions, around strengthening pathways for successful youth labour market transitions. Anthony leads NBI’s work to transform the skills and TVET system in support of the realization of a Just Transition in South Africa. He has a particular interest in the unlocking of demand for skills in contexts of high informality. Anthony has a PhD in Education Policy with a specific focus on vocational education and the factors that contribute to successful transitions from school to work.
