Aidan Johnson is Vice President for alternative revenues at Massmart. He is responsible for driving new revenue for the organisation, and oversees retail media, data ventures, and subsidiaries for the group.
He previously served as chief executive officer of Onecart, a wholly owned Walmart business that provides turnkey eCommerce solutions to leading national retailers including to Walmart.
Prior to joining Walmart, Aidan served as ShopriteX’s head of retail, helping to lead Checkers Sixty60, today South Africa’s leading grocery delivery business. Prior to ShopriteX, Aidan held leadership roles at both PepsiCo & Harley-Davidson.
Aidan received his Bachelor of Commerce from Stellenbosch University and Master of Business Administration from EDHEC Business School. Aidan resides in Cape Town, South Africa.
