Abel is an Investment Director at Novastar Ventures East Africa Advisors Limited, based in Nairobi. He facilitates equity investments in transformative startups across Africa, with a focus on sectors, such as agritech, energy, logistics, electric mobility, fintech, e-commerce, healthcare, and education. Abel also sits on the investment committees of AgDevCo Ventures, Chui Ventures, and FrontEnd Ventures.   

Before joining Novastar in 2019, he co-founded and exited a dairy SME in Eldoret, Kenya, which introduced milk vending machines to improve access to affordable dairy for low-income communities. Earlier, he worked as a Credit Research Analyst at Bloomberg L.P. in Princeton, New Jersey. Abel holds a BA in Government from Harvard College.
