Overview

Zahra Energy Consultant Ltd is developing a scalable portfolio of AI-enabled solar PV and battery energy storage projects to provide reliable, affordable and climate-resilient electricity to underserved communities and productive-use customers in Nigeria. The project combines solar PV, LiFePO4 battery storage, smart metering, remote monitoring, predictive analytics and AI-enabled energy management. The initial deployment will build on Zahra’s operational mini-grid experience and a pipeline of community mini-grids, with subsequent replication across northern Nigeria and other African markets. The programme will support household electrification, businesses, agriculture, water supply, healthcare, education and other productive uses while reducing dependence on diesel generators and improving local economic activity.
