This backing reflects growing recognition of the need to equip business and project owners with the tools to implement embedded generation and energy storage projects that are fit for purpose, high in quality, and built for longevity – not just selected on the basis of cost.
Further reinforcing the Summit’s importance is the involvement of Zesco, Zambia’s national utility, which comes on board as the official host utility. Their partnership signals a clear commitment to fostering a space for solution-driven dialogue between policymakers, developers, service providers, and end-users to shape a resilient, future-fit energy landscape for Zambia.
Ahead of the 2025 edition, the Event Director Marcel du Toit and Programme Manager Babalwa Bungane visited Lusaka to engage directly with key stakeholders.
Their in-country meetings laid the groundwork for deeper collaboration, ensuring that the Summit’s agenda speaks directly to Zambia’s evolving energy ecosystem.
