The Association of African Exhibition Organisers (AAXO) is thrilled to unveil the inaugural Committee of the AAXO Youth Chapter for 2024/2025. This pioneering initiative is set to empower young professionals in the events and exhibitions industry by providing a dynamic platform where their voices can contribute to the future growth and innovation of the sector.
“We are proud of the selected Committee for the newly launched AAXO Youth Chapter and believe we have some of the brightest young minds representing our association and industry,” said Gary Corin, Chairperson at AAXO.
The AAXO Youth Chapter Committee members are:
Anazi Piper, Vuka Group: Driven by a deep commitment to AAXO’s mission, Anazi aims to leverage her communication and leadership skills within the Youth Chapter to inspire others and foster industry growth. Her focus is on ensuring that young professionals have a strong voice and the support they need to succeed.
Stephen Campbell, Vuka Group: Stephen is dedicated to addressing key industry challenges such as flat organisational structures, industry stigmatization, limited career growth opportunities, and the lack of incentives for youth entrepreneurship. He seeks to create an environment where young professionals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the industry’s development.
