While investment in data centres is increasing, a significant portion of Africa’s data is still stored and processed outside the continent, limiting local value creation and digital sovereignty.
This webinar explores the shift from data export to data ownership, positioning data centres not simply as technology assets, but as foundational infrastructure for economic competitiveness, national security and industrial growth. As hyperscalers expand into African markets and governments push for localisation, the conversation is moving from policy ambition to physical deployment.
However, scaling digital infrastructure is not just a demand story, it is a systems challenge.
