As part of GreenspoonGo, Greenspoon’s super speedy delivery service introduced in February 2023, this collaboration is set to transform the food delivery landscape in Kenya.
This innovative partnership enables Greenspoon customers to receive their orders in under 99 minutes, a significant improvement from the previous delivery time of up to 3 hours. This enhancement will allow customers to access their pantry essentials and fresh produce faster than ever before.
The Roam Air electric motorcycle, renowned for its efficiency and durability, plays a key role in this service. Each Roam Air is equipped with a waterproof storage tank and a robust frame, capable of handling up to 15 Greenspoon customer orders daily. The motorcycle’s removable dual battery system and portable charger enable Greenspoon riders to charge at any power outlet, including their warehouse, reducing downtime and ensuring continuous operation. With three batteries per Roam Air, Greenspoon riders can achieve a range of over 225 km on a full charge, facilitating up to 195 orders daily.
With this increased delivery efficiency, Greenspoon aims to serve even more customers, building on their current base of over 3,500 active users who place orders through the Greenspoon mobile app and website.
Beyond speed, this partnership is also about sustainability. The Roam Air is a zero-emissions vehicle with a capacity to carry up to 220 kg, making it the perfect solution for Greenspoon’s mission to reduce carbon footprints while supporting local farmers and artisans. GreenspoonGo further minimizes environmental impact by consolidating orders headed to the same route whenever possible.
